An Acronym for Memory


  • M- odeled I/WE/YOU basic and one rule at a time
  • E – xaggerate / humor for relaxation
  • M – ultisensory
  • O – rganized by stacking you allow students to see phonemic patterns in language; prior knowledge- build on the known
  • R – eherse/ review/ recall
  • Y – ou – needs to be authentic for learner – so they can get an emotional connection and make long term associations
